Photo Marathon

 As part of Hope08, Churches Together in West Bridgford, Nottingham, have organised an event called the West Bridgford Photo Marathon. The idea came from my visit to Vienna last autumn when I took part, along with over 1,000 other photographers, in an all-day event where we had to take 24 photos on a set of themes handed to us on the day.

| Global Leadership Summit |

The Willow Creek Association UK & Ireland are staging the Global Leadership Summit 2008. There are a number of venues across the country but the nearest is Stafford on October 3rd and 4th. Speakers will include Bill Hybels (Senior Pastor at Willow Creek Community Church) and other prominent church leaders.

 On Saturday September 27th, around 250 people from the West Bridgford community will descend upon the Friary Scout Hall and URC for the first West Bridgford Photo Marathon, organised by Churches Together in West Bridgford as part of Hope08.
This is an excellent way of making new friendships with people who don't normally come to church. If you wish to take part or find out more, click here. |
